We shuffled off to the aquarium through the tiny pellets of ice hitting our faces and unbearable wind. My parents came unprepared for the cold and nearly froze. The most exciting part of the day was seeing the diver in the big tank get bitten by a puffer fish. She exclamed a profanity, shook the bugger off and then said, "I think I need to go." Last weekend we heard it was supposed to be in the 40s and sunny here for my parents' visit. They lied.

She's right - they lied! It was windy in the windy city and coooooooold! I bought earmuffs and a scarf just to get back to the car!
