So one day I'm at my corner market and I see this apron. Upon closer inspection I find out it's hilarious. It says "American Snacks" and lists random things like "salad toast", "chicken burgers" and mayonnaise. The fabric is supposedly cotton but it's kind of rough and unpleasant but I liked it anyway.
About a week later I had the guts to open the package of another apron on the shelf. This one says "Chinese Food" and is populated with shrimp, duck, some sort of drink you can't read because it's behind the pocket, sake - which isn't Chinese anyway and tea.
So what is this about? Are these sold in Pakistan where they are made? What's the intended market for these? Am I wearing the same apron as someone in the Philippines right now and we're both laughing at the same jokes?
